| Fueling our Future with Dimethyl Ether: |
| A clean fuel for diesel engines has been developed. It will reduce dependence on petroleum, significantly reduce vehicle emissions and lower green house gas emissions. This new fuel is called dimethyl ether (DME). DME can be economically produced from abundant sources: stranded natural gas; coal and biomass. AFT has developed a common rail fuel injection system for DME that is reliable, low cost and can be retrofitted to most modern diesel engines. AFT can supply DME fuel systems for Direct Injection Diesel trucks and cars. These systems can be used for dyno or fleet tests and for single cylinder research. |
